چکیده
Purpose: To explore the child- and parent-related effects of home-based bimanual training in children with unilateral cerebral palsy. Methods: Case series 14 (2–7 years) who completed goal-oriented task-specific for 3.5 hours/week 12 weeks by a program adopting implicit (n = 5) or explicit 9) motor learning. A therapist remedial educationalist coached parents. Progression on goals (Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM)) therapy-related parental stress (interviews) were primary interest. Data collected at baseline (T0), halfway through end (T1 T2), after (T3).Results: On COPM performance scale clinically relevant change was seen 50% (7/14), 86% (12/14), 85% (11/13) children, T1, T2, T3, respectively. PURPOSE This systematic review compared intensive bimanual therapy (IBT) and modified constraint-induced movement therapy (mCIMT) in upper limb function in children with unilateral cerebral palsy (CP). METHODS Four electronic databases were searched from 2009 through October 2015 for randomized control trials comparing IBT with mCIMT. RESULTS Eight articles met the inclusion criteria; 5 ran...
